“Alternate Nature” is a 2-channel animation installation of larger-than-life insects in the architecture of the gallery. One is of a giant Cicada going through a metamorphosis in 3 minutes, a process that takes ~4 hours in nature. The animation projected on the wall and floor is of a life cycle of flowers and a group of bees. Audio by Yumi Vong. Curated by Mariko Tanaka in an exhibition at 3rd Ward, Brooklyn, NY. 2007
